Guided exposure,
back to living

Practising difficult situations in virtual reality. A modular platform built together with psychiatrists.

Features

Difficult situations, fully under control

Gradually facing a feared situation is the most effective part of working with anxiety — and the hardest one to arrange. A trip to the airport or a crowded metro means time, travel and unpredictability. AGORIVA brings the same situations to your workplace: the same experience, full control, and the option to pause, adjust or repeat at any moment.

Full control

A scenario can be paused, softened or repeated at any moment — during the session too.

Repeatability

The same situation, as many times as needed. And for as long as needed.

A safe environment

The client knows they can stop at any time. A safe zone lets them see their real surroundings through the headset cameras.

Gamification

Award stars and personalised recognition for situations the client has handled.

Breathing module

Guided calming and breathwork right inside VR, with adjustable parameters.

SUD scale

Distress on a 0–10 scale at any point in the scenario, without breaking immersion.

Difficulty levels

Adjustable scenario parameters that set how demanding the whole situation is. Set them up front or change them mid-session.

Scenarios

From a flight to a supermarket

Safe, repeatable environments the therapist controls from start to finish. Everything is stationary — nothing moves the client — and no scenario ever ends on its own: you move forward only when the client is ready.

Your scenarioThe platform is fully modular — a scenario tailored to your practice can be built and deployed as another module.Discuss a custom scenario

    For professionals

    Built on exposure therapy

AGORIVA is grounded in the framework of cognitive-behavioural therapy: exposure guided by continuous SUD ratings, with the option to stay with a stimulus and use habituation, or move up the hierarchy. Compared with in vivo exposure, the therapist keeps full control over the course of the session — and for highly anxious patients, that makes entering exposure easier in the first place.

VR therapy does not compete with existing outpatient or inpatient care — it naturally extends it: guided exposures can be run without leaving the consulting room, and it widens the range of situations that can be safely created within therapy.
